Making J-Card Cassette Tape Sleeves

This J-card Generator is the fastest way to make an insert for your cassette tape cases. Use the search to look up albums, or paste in a Spotify/Youtube playlist to instantly pull in the songs. The generator will divide your playlist into two sides automatically.

You can adjust the Panel Layout to go from a classic 3-panel J-card layout, all the way up to an 8-panel J-card with 7 folds of decreasing size. That way each panel folds into itself nicely.

How to make J-Cards

1. Search for an album, or paste a link to your spotify/youtube playslist in the searchbar above.
2. Customize colors, fonts, and poster art in the editor tabs—front cover, background, barcode, and logos all have dedicated panels.
3. Expand the number of panels to reveal more liner-note columns, lyric space, or bonus artwork.
4. Rotate the insert by 90° increments to double-check orientation before printing.
5. Export the outer and inner spreads at the original pixel size for crystal-clear prints.

Pro tips

• Click on the "Decals" tab and pop-in some stickers to give it the right vibe
• Add your playlist from Youtube or Spotify by pasting it in the searchbar.
• Use the lyric block for long-form notes—text automatically flows into new panels as you add them.
• Select "Shortback" in the "Panel Layout" section if your cassette has a shortback.
