Why Full-Face MiniDisc Labels?
One of the most iconic aspects of MiniDisc was the shell itself.
Unlike CDs, the disc is hidden inside a protective cartridge, which means the visible shell becomes the canvas. Full-face labels let you take advantage of that space and create something that looks more like a manufactured release than a hand-labeled recording.
The effect is especially striking with colorful MiniDisc shells, custom mixes, vaporwave projects, field recordings, and archival releases.
Why did you make this?
After building standard MiniDisc label templates, a lot of people wanted something that looked closer to professionally printed MiniDiscs.
The problem is that most home printers can't print directly onto a MiniDisc shell. UV printing works great, but it isn't practical for one-off projects.
This generator bridges that gap by automatically splitting artwork into separate printable sections that create the appearance of a full-face printed MiniDisc.
